Young, Creative, Bold and Full of Imagination - that's what anybody who knows Nikko Taytay would say.
Nix, as what most colleagues and friends would call him started his photography hobby four years ago after graduating with an AB Mass Communications degree at the Far Eastern University. Inspired by pictures seen in old National Geographic magazines, he was determined to learn and excel in this new craft - "Making Poetry With Pictures."
Now, after years of perfecting his craft, Nix Taytay is definitely a name to watch out. He joined the Concerned Artist Nurturing On Nature (CANON CLUB) last 2001 and was elected PRO. A year after, the CANON CLUB became the Cameras In Action Photo Club or CIA, Nix became the VP on Membership.
The year 2002 was a very fruitful year for Nix, winning several photo contests, he was chosen as the CIA Most Valuable Photographer of the Year (MVP), the highest honor given to a club member. This year will be even more promising to Nix for he was recently elected as the new CIA President.
Truly, everything is going along with Nix's way. Working alongside with the Masters like Ibarra Deri (his mentor), Lee Llamas and Richel Mascariņas, to name a few, Nix has truly developed his own style of photography, especially in Weddings, where he brings poetry to his images - making him one of the youngest professional photographers around.
